Major Instrument Usage
- Campus users: $61/hour
- Off-campus users: $97/hour
- Private Enterprise users: $97/hour
New User Training*
- Initial training typically includes:
- 3 hours of instrument time
- 3 hours of training time
- Up to 3 hours of consultation
- $408 per new user
- Follow-up consultation is included in instrument time after initial training.
- Training charges on new instruments will be determined in consultation with the Technical Director.
- *New user training may be eligible for CBS Core Support Mini-Grants. Please check with the Technical Director.
Lab Instrument Usage
- The fee structure applies quarterly.
- Micro-users with less than 10 hours per quarter, there will be no user fee.
- Minor users by PI with 35 hours or less: $500 per quarter
- Major users by PI with 36 hours or more: $1000 per quarter
- New users will receive a dispensation for the remainder of the quarter they start, up to three months before the *subscription charge is applied.
*Subscription charges will be reevaluated on a quarterly basis.
Consulting Time
- Campus users: $61/hour (plus instrument time, when applicable)
- Off-campus users: $97/hour (plus instrument time, when applicable)
Image Visualization and Analysis
- Collection of Images for short timeline jobs: $122/hour
- No additional training charges or subscription charges will be incurred.
