Image Processing & Analysis Software

SVI Huygens 23

A powerful image processing platform for deconvolution, restoration, and interactive analysis of 2D–4D datasets. Huygens improves image resolution and clarity, enabling detailed visualization and quantitative measurements from confocal, widefield, and light sheet microscopy.

Imaris 11

A state-of-the-art 3D and time-lapse image analysis software designed for very large datasets. Key features include:

  • Access to dedicated application support for analysis pipeline development in remote sessions.

  • Nikon Elements 4.0 supports SIM reconstruction and Nikon Elements Deconvolution
  • Zeiss Zen 3.6 with Airyscan processing, including join deconvolition

Workstations

Image visualization and analysis on any workstation is free of charge for LMC users. Access for others may be granted on a case-by-case basis by the Technical Director. Workstations, with the information listed above, can be reserved via the online calendar.


Data Storage & Transfer

40 TB Synology Data Storage Server

A dedicated, high-capacity network storage system connected to all instruments via 100 Gb Ethernet. This setup ensures fast data transfer, secure storage, and seamless integration with analysis workstations for large microscopy datasets.
