Ideally Suited For:

• Complex, multi-component structures in samples fixed for IIF
• Weak fluorescence signals
• Long time-lapse imaging of thin living samples
• Tissue sections (pathology slides)
• Whole mounts of small, thin, or optically transparent organs or organisms

Not Suited For:

• Rapid time-lapse imaging in thick samples
• Photo-bleaching, photo-activation, or photo-conversion requires a second excitation path
• Region of interest imaging in discreet regions of a sample
