Our microscopy facility offers a full range of advanced imaging tools, including confocal, super-resolution, widefield deconvolution, light sheet, and single-molecule biophysics systems. Researchers can capture fast live-cell dynamics, ultra-high-resolution structures, and single-molecule interactions using state-of-the-art instruments from Zeiss, Nikon, CrestOptics, DeltaVision, Lumicks, and 3i. Microscopes are available to certified users. To schedule training or if you have questions about which microscope will best meet your needs, please contact the technical director.
Confocal Microscopy
Confocal systems provide high-resolution, fast imaging of live and fixed samples, ideal for studying cellular structures and dynamics.
Super-Resolution Microscopy
Super-resolution techniques surpass the diffraction limit to reveal nanoscale details of cellular organization and molecular interactions.
Widefield & Deconvolution Microscopy
Widefield deconvolution microscopes deliver sharp, detailed images of fixed samples by removing out-of-focus light.
Single-Molecule Biophysics
Single-molecule biophysics tools enable precise measurement and manipulation of individual biomolecules in real time.
Light Sheet Microscopy
Light sheet imaging offers ultra-gentle, 4D visualization of live cells and organisms with minimal photodamage.
